D.A.Cooper & Sons Ltd included Steel Stockholding to its product range in 2006 to complement our well established Steel Services facilities.

We currently stock a wide range of Carbon, Alloys, Stainless and Nickel Alloy Materials up to 1200mm in diameter and 20 tonnes in weight.

All our Prime Steel Products are sourced from Quality Approved and Accredited UK and European Mills and are supplied with full certification.

Initially putting a range of stock material in aimed predominantly at the Oil, Gas and Engineering markets, we have quickly expanded our product range and now supply a vast range of material grades and sizes to all industry sectors throughout the world, all of which can be complemented by our vast range of truly in-house Cutting, Machining, Grinding and Transportation services.

Being one of the largest and most successful Sub-Contract Processors in the UK we offer our customers the opportunity to use us as a “One Stop Shop” for all their material needs, whether it be for a “one off” or “multiple” truck loads.
We can manage your project from start to finish whether it be sourcing of material through to the finish machined component or any combination of processes in between.
Our well-established relationships with local Forges, Heat Treatment facilities, Test Houses and sub-contract machinists means we can offer the most extensive and wide range of products available anywhere.

Additionally, we also stock a range of “Non-Prime” “Known Quantity” materials suitable for Engineers and Fabrication shops producing “None-Critical” components such as Pulleys, Gears, Shafts, End Caps, Flanges, Flywheels and Counterweights.  Much of this material is sourced through surplus bundles and re-usable merchants and would typically include Bar Stock, Shorts, Machined Cores and Large Re-Machined Recovered Shafts and Plates.
Material can be supplied Cut to Size and Rough Machined to Shape, Pilot Bored/Bored and/or Faced to length and Milled as required.
